More than 60 Perkonians and former members of staff returned to SWPS on Saturday 12 September for our annual Alumni Afternoon Tea, with guests spanning more than five decades – from the Class of 1962 through to 2016.

It was an afternoon of conversation, laughter and reminiscence as old friends reunited and new connections were made over afternoon tea.

A highlight was seeing our Year 8 and 9 student ambassadors welcome our guests and lead tours around the school. For our alumni, it was a chance to see how SWPS has changed since their own school days, whilst our students had the opportunity to meet some of the people who have been part of the school’s story over the years.

With so many different generations represented, it was a lovely meeting of the past and present – and a reminder that the Perkonian community continues long after leaving SWPS.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special, and to our student ambassadors for giving our guests such a warm welcome.
