SWPS was abuzz with excitement at the end of June as the week welcomed the Midsummer Jamboree, an event providing a much needed opportunity for the SWPS community to unwind after an unpredictable year.

In their year group bubbles, students moved between a fun-filled itinerary of activities, including:

  • a giant inflatable obstacle course and slide
  • friendship bracelet making
  • a silent disco
  • a giant tug-of-war
  • the audible delights of busking during lunchtime
  • Mr Muller's SWPS brainbender
  • a Jukebox & Photobooth bar
  • a summer BBQ lunch
  • their own Ice Cream van!

With the sounds of laughter and delight throughout, it's safe to say the day truly was a well-deserved celebration marking the near-completion of a trying few terms.

A huge thank you to Mrs Heather O'Connor and her team for all their hard work and organisation, and an extra-special thanks to Mrs Michelle Bradbury for overseeing the day and keeping things running smoothly.
